Just wanted to send a quick update on Bear (formerly known as Moose) As always Bear is doing great as you can see from the attached photos. I came home to find my husband and dog all snuggled up sleeping on our bed! That’s pretty much Bear for ya, he runs our house, as big as he is it’s pretty hard for him not to do. He was weighing in at 165lbs, which was a little too much so we put him on a slight diet and he is now a trim 150lbs. We are still looking for his playmate and we will keep searching your kennel until we find Bear the right “girlfriend”. He is getting along with our male cat a lot better now but still likes to chase him. He is the best friend my son could have, those two are inseparable, as you can see from the picture. Thank you again for our giant protector.

On March 19 we adopted an active black and white kitten. He was more active than his brothers and we thought that he would fit right in with our current 5 year old cat. We were right. Our cat Ty took him right in and they have become friends. Kit Kat has become well adapted and his very playful. When he first got here he had to cuddle us or Ty to fall asleep.
We are happy that we came to the Anna Shelter and found Kit Kat. We have attached some pictures. If you would like more let us know. We will be more than happy to send more and we will be keeping you posted.
Thank you

I just wanted to let the staff at the Anna Shelter see how well Pork Chop has fit into our household. We have changed his name to Gizmo as my husband refused to call him Pork Chop. Although he has managed to be rambunctious and perhaps even a little too cocky at times, (when my husband and I are there to protect him) my alpha cat has put him in his place and he seems to be adjusting well. He has been an enjoyable addition to our household and I hope to have many happy years with him. Please see the attached photo.
Thank you,

Becka is still Becka and she is doing very well. She survived the holidays with all the grandchildren and commotion. She is so good with the children, very patient especially with both of the two year olds. I have a cute picture of her lying in front of my 10 month old grandson who was sitting on the floor eating something and she put her head right between his legs hoping he would drop a bite. I will send it to you if it is still on my cell phone. We have gotten to the point where we can take her off the leash and let her run in the park across the street. She just runs and runs from tree to tree (the squirrels just love to taunt her), but she doesn’t go into the road and comes immediately when we call her. Also Jim takes her to Frontier Park frequently; she particularly loves to run there because she has more space to run. We feel a little bit safer with her off the leash at that park because there is a greater distance to the road and she can really run full-out without being called back so often.
She has been a great addition to our family and we are really happy with our decision to adopt.

(No Photo of Bubba...yet!)
He is doing SUPER!!!! Actually, the Elders renamed him Bubba (formerly Dallas). He is doing his job BEAUTIFULLY!!!!!! He sleeps with Elders, he interacts well with our other dogs and he has had no problem adjusting and boy is he loveable! We are so very happy that we adopted him and I am sure in the future, you will be hearing from us again. Thanks so much for letting us adopt him, he is a blessing! Thanks for all of your hard work.
