Hi Anna Shelter,
Just wanted to report that Blake (formerly known as Bruce) is doing well in his new home.  Blake pictured left and his new brother Murphy are getting used to one another, it was a rough start but they are becoming good friends.  Blake loves to give you kisses and play with Murphy in the fenced in yard.  Thank you for letting him find his forever home with me!  Erica

Hello ANNA Shelter Staff:

We adopted the cutest kitty ever from Petsmart last weekend!  She is known to you as "Joanne" but she is known to us as "Snickers."  We got to Petsmart just in time because there was another family that wanted her, but we came in first.  I guess there was a reason for us to skip our stop at Target that night!  So, we wanted to tell you that she is the perfect fit to our family...she loves to be held and cuddled by our 2 young daughters, doesn't mind our Golden, and is even ignoring our 7 year old cat's hissing and growling at her!  Eventually our other cat will learn to accept her, but for now they will just have to stay on opposites sides of the room!   She is just the sweetest thing ever....we all love her very much.  I am so happy that someone brought this adorable, sweet young thing into you and that you took great care of her until we could get there!  My daughters are ecstatic about her and we know that she will have a happy, healthy home with us!
Here is a picture of her getting ready for bed.
Thanks again and bless you for all you do for them!
Jen, Scott, Taylor and Sydney

Hi,
Thought you might like to see of picture of Dudley.  I just had him to the vet about 2 weeks ago and he weighed over 3 pounds.  He was so tiny when we got him.  He is a very energetic kitty and into everything.  He loves to sit on my lap every night and sleep and sleeps with us every night.  He gets along very well with our two yr old Spooky and they play alot.  We are just crazy about him.  Thanks for letting us adopt him.  I will send you pictures as he grows.  Pat Buck (Brandi's mom)

To everyone at the ANNA Shelter,
This is our 4 month old puggle Zeus on the left that we adopted just a few days ago, known as Rodger.  He is doing really well already. He was just a scared little puppy when we got him home but now he loves to play with our other puggle Princess and is happier then ever.  It was worth the 4 and a half hour drive to see him at the shelter.  Zeus is a great addition to the family. Thank you so much, Courtnie and Derron

Hi Ruth and all my friends at the ANNA Shelter....I've sent you a couple of pictures of me in my new forever home.  You may remember me as Jasmine, but shortly after I came home, my new parents thought I looked like a Sophie and I really like the name too, so I agreed to change it!  I was at the ANNA Shelter for quiet some time and was actually on the "desperate dog" list when my new mom saw me online and fell in love with me.  She came out to visit me and brought my sister dog with her, we all got along so well, we couldn't wait to get home!  The first thing I did when I came into my new home was walk into the family room and jump up on the couch and lay my head down on my daddy's lap!  I was in heaven, and just knew I could be really happy here, and I have been.  The pictures I have sent are a pictute of me relaxing in the backyard and the other is with my sister dog Sasha.  I also have a sister cat who I get along with very well, she gives my ears a bath every week and I just lay back and enjoy it.  Thank you all for taking such good care of me when I stayed with you and thank you for helping all of my friends at the ANNA Shelter.  I miss you all and will come visit soon!  Love Sophie

Hello A.N.N.A Shelter Staff & Friends,

My husband, son and myself would like to extend a big Thank You in your aid with our sucessful adoption of Pixie our Chocolate Lab. We had looked high and low for the right dog for our family and did not think we were going to find her. But being one not to give up, I did one last search on your website last Friday night and there she was. I was so excited I could not sleep.  So very early Saturday morning ( We live in Warren, PA) we jumped into the truck and headed to Erie. We were the first people in the door that day, greeted very warmly by every staff member in the building. Off to the dog room we ran and there she was, Pixie. She looked up at me with those big mellow-yellow Lab eyes as to say " What took you so long?" She was clean, well fed and ready for love. I really do have to give you folks kudos on how clean and well kept your shelter is.  So we played with her for a few minutes and filled out the adoption papers and were on our way home. Pixie loves riding in the car. Everytime she hears the keys rattle, she is at the door waiting. We made a quick stop at Petsmart for a beautiful new pink girly collar, a pink frisbee and 5 new tennis balls. You would be amazed at how many other people in Petsmart that day were coming in with their newly adopted dogs to be outfitted. It was really heart warming.  When we arrived home, Pixie was greeted by her new brothers and they bonded right away. She went into her new fenced in backyard and chased tennis balls for an hour, came in, ate and promptly passed out the length of herself on top of me as I laid on the couch. She is a true "lap dog" a 60 lb lap dog. She has been to my vet and they said she was a great healthy, friendly girl.  Thank You with all my heart, Pixie is just a wonderful dog with a ton of love in her heart. I will always refer anyone looking for a pet to your shelter. Mark, Lynn, Kyle & Pixie.
