Late Winter/Early Spring

Ruth,
Hi I hope things are great I wanted to let you know that we named the kitten Gizmo we got from you and we love him...but today we found out she is a girl so we switched her named to Gizzy...funny right!  Thought you would like this pic..we love our new kitten. I now know what a healthy kitten should be like. All in one phone call she knocked over a plant, got in the candy dish and ran around the house with panty hose in her mouth. If you ever need a volunteer my daughter and I would love to help out.
Thanks Dawn

Hi Friends!

You asked for an update on Joon, so here it is...we brought her home and got pretty concerned about her because even though she was loving all our attention, she was sneezing and not eating much...we took her to the vet to find out she has a sinus infection (thank goodness it didn't spread to her lungs) so we've been giving her antibiotics and nose drops (which she HATES) but since she started that she's feeling better...we ended up having to take her back to the vet this morning because even though she wa s feeling better she wasn't eating much.  Poor girl, all the stress of being in a new home AND being sick....the dr gave her a shot to increase her appetite, and since then she is starting to eat, thank goodness, and is doing much much better...she loves sunbathing in front of our sliding glass doors in the dining room and loves chasing bugs and toys with bells.  We're hoping that the appetite keeps up...she has another check up this coming friday, and we're hoping that it puts us in the clear!  Joon is still as sweet as ever, and has definitely become the princess of the house!  :o)  Thank you SOO much for taking such good care of her at the shelter, and we'll continue to take good care of her here at home!!!

Spaz was adopted on November 30, 2009 from The ANNA Shelter.   As you can see in the attached pictures, he enjoyed his visit recently with the grandchildren.  He will be visiting the Clinic soon to be fixed.   Sue Arndt

I have attached a couple of pictures of the kittens.  Hopefully you can open them.  They are doing really well here.  A couple of weeks ago they got neutered and they are very healthy.  We love having them.  They are truely such good kittens.  They do have their naughty side but that is because they are young.
Thank you for taking such good care of them when they were babies.

Here is Max when we adopted him his name was Corey.  We adopted him December 5th 2009 on 12/7/09 he went into the hospital and was very sick with a strain of parvo. He was home in 3 days and is now doing awesome! He is the sweetest little puppy ever he is very happy in his new home. He recently went to the vet and had to go back 2 weeks later and in those 2 weeks he gained 9 1/2 lbs! He's gonna be a big boy. Thank you so much for blessing us with such an amazing dog.

Just to let you know that getting Mika was the right thing to do.  After a couple of minutes of posturing, they became friends.  This picture is just one of the family photos.
