Late Spring/Early Summer2

Lexi had a day at the spa last weekend and look's adorable. Here are some pictures of her. She is full of energy and so much fun. We are blessed to have her. Thanks so much.

Ruth we are the family that adopted Lucky Lucy last year. I would like to write a letter to the editor of the newspaper praising everyone that was involved in Lucy's care. Just wanted to know if you could drop me a line with the names all that were involve including the person whom brought her to the shelter. Lucy just turned a year old and is a very loving and active dog. We love unconditionally and wanted to thank everyone for the wonderful jobs they do there at the shelter and Camboro. Thank you very much, Heidi Prindle

Thanks for your call.  My husband, myself and Maggie (our other dog) fell in love with Riley immediately.  Riley is doing really well.  He is the happiest little dog - always wagging his tail.  We had to treat him for kennel cough and whip worms but he is all better and healthy now.

We have him almost house broken.  He loves his toys (especially the tennis balls).  Maggie loves her little brother.  She gets a little mad when he bites at her with his sharp puppy teech.  They play very nicely together - chasing each other around the back yard.

I am working with him teaching him to sit, stay, etc.  He is a quick leaner and very motivated by treats.

I have attached a photo of Riley and Maggie.

Thanks, Beth

Thank you for helping us with his parvo episode. Here is a picture I just took moments agoof captain. He weighed 25lbs when he was ill and now after several weeks he weighs 42lbs. He loves snuggling and playing with our children. He is gentle when he plays but is extremely protective when it comes to the family. Very protective. He is doing well and we are thinking of adopting a playmate for him but we are unsure at the moment. My husband will be on a 398 day deployment to iraq so the kids and I will be going back to arizona. Captain will come along as now he is part of the family. We ALL leave may 2nd. I will send photos of captai as he enjoys laying out n the sun next to the pool in our back yard. Thank you again for everything.

Just wanted to give an update on Bear, formally known as Moose. He is doing great! He is a year old now and still growing strong! He weighs over 100lbs and thinks he is a lap dog! He has had a rough start with us but he is beginning to settle down, he goes through separation anxiety so if ANYTHING is left out he will eat it. Whether it is paper, or soda cans, he will eat it! He even ate our brand new love seat! But he is getting better, he goes on a walk everyday and loves it! He loves being a part of the family and loves my little son as you can see from the attached photo those two are in-separable! We just wanted to thank you again for bringing Bear into our lives! And we will see you soon as we are thinking of getting him a playmate!!!

Sincerely

Jaimi & Mike Healey

The first picture is the day we brought her home.  She looks so happy!  The second one is a few months after being with us, all groomed up.  She doesn’t look happy, but that’s probably due to the fact that I just woke her up!!  My son asked me one day why Peppy was always sad.  I told him that she wasn’t sad.  She is wagging her tail.  Our golden retriever always looks like he is smiling/happy because that’s just the way they look.  So I tried to explain that to him.

Hello everyone,

Just thought I'd send a pictue of Sarge  AKA  Duke...He's doing really well at his new home and my kids adore him. Our cat is even starting to warm up to him.

The Stevens family.

Hello A.n.n.a shelter,

I just wanted to give you an update on Sushi, now named Kade.  He is doing really well.  I absolutely love him.  He goes pretty much everywhere with me.  I take him to the barn with me and he is absolutely fascinated by the horses.  He loves my house cat and plays with him all the time.  He plays with all his toys and loves going for walks around the neighborhood.  I think he likes his new home, and he loves to cuddle.  He is the best companion I could have ever asked for.  If anyone is looking for a dog I would absolutely recommend adopting a shelter dog. Everyone who has met my dog loves him, and I know I enjoy every minute with him.

Thank you everyone at the shelter for this amazing guy!

Hi there

Thanks for the follow up call regarding our puppy. Penny (we named her in honor of Pennsylvania) is fitting right in essentially ruling the house.  Training is an ongoing thing but she now sits and lays down on command and is doing very well on a leash.  She certainly seems to have a boundless energy supply and loves to run in the yard, or chases the cats.

She did have a case of kennel cough but that has been cleared up with antibiotics from the vet.  She is steadily gaining weight and growing rapidly and is just a generally happy and playful puppy.

I've attached a pic I took this week of her (its tough to get good ones since she rarely sits still lol).

Thanks again for allowing us to give this bundle of joy a home.
Tracy and Nesta

Tank is doing great!

We thought you all would like to see him playing with our Jacks and
daughter.

Cheers!
