Hello, this is Bill and Jean Ager. We adopted a cat back at the end the year and we also adopted a female beagle (Wilma, she was pn JetPet) in March. Just to update you, both animals are doing great! Along with our other beagle Samson, all are doing great and enjoy each other's company and going for walks (the dogs). We named the cat Cosmo and renamed Wilma, Hannah. Hannah and Cosmo spend alot of time running and playing with each other, they even share the same bed at times. Attached is a pic. Thanks for all you guys do there and allowing us to add a few new members to our family.

Hello to the wonderful ANNA shelter staff! Just wanted to give you an update on Bella (formally known as Angel). She is doing great, at first our cat Toby had some issues with her, but he is doing a lot better with her now!
She' a wonderful addition to our family. We love her so much! She is the best snuggle puppy ever! She is very active and loves to play outside with the kids. She likes chasing the cat, and being spolied! She is a very lovable dog and we are so happy to have her! Thank you so much!

I have been looking on Petfinder.com for the longest time in search of that one dog that I couldn't say no to. What a wonderful idea to have one place that prospective adopters could come to look around.
I've had my Bella for about a month. She is wonderful. She came in the house like she had been here forever. She is wonderful with my children. They just adore her. Momma's Girl!! Yep she's spoiled rotten and loving every second of it. Thank you to Petfinder.com for giving us a place to fall in love with her before we ever met her!
Thank you to The ANNA Shelter for taking her in and caring for her and all of the other animals that need the help. It is so much work to care for all of these animals while they are waiting for their forever homes.

Michelle, I was so glad to get your phone call today because I have been meaning to send you guys an update for a while now. I have a new best friend and we’re doing great together. Bruno was a little sick after his shots (playing dead photo), but recovered nicely. The vet gave him a perfect bill of health. He adjusted really well emotionally and acted from the first day like he had always lived here. He is maintaining his weight at about 11 lbs, which the vet says is perfect for him. His hair is filling in nicely, although we still have some to go. Even though he hasn’t been outside, he managed to contract some fleas just last week. The vet didn’t seem too worried about his allergy, so I treated him with Advantage and after a few days, his mild scabbing cleared right up with no further symptoms. Bruno is a beautiful (and my very favorite) creature and I am truly grateful to you for helping bring us together.I bought you guys some cleaning supplies and a few things for the cats. I’ve been meaning to get out there, but haven’t found the time yet, so hopefully I’ll have a chance to do that soon.
Yours,
Deena Varner

Dear ANNA Shelter,
I was adopted as "Clooney" but my new family calls me "Teddy" which they say is short for Theodore. I love my new home! There are plenty of fun toys and lots of good food and treats! I have become best friends with another rescued cat and his name is Rory. We love snuggling together and sleeping next to each other and playing, of course! I have attached a picture of me and a picture of me and my new best friend. Thank you so much for taking care of me before my forever family came to get me!
Love,
Teddy

Hello again! I wanted to send another update about Oliver! He had his first vet visit and it went very well! We are going back the 25th for more shots! He is very spoiled!! He gets wet food every night and if I'm even a second late he is at the bowl letting me know! He is a wonderful kitten who is very loved! The picture I attached of him is adorable!
Always,
Lisa & Oliver

Ruth, Chris, Brian and staff, I just wanted to show you what “Fritz” now “Oscar” did last night after taking him to his forever home. Jumped right on the couch next to my husband and snuggled in. My husband looked at him and said “Hello” and Oscar gave him a great big kiss! Now we are all in love with him. He slept with my son last night and tonight he will be with my daughter. Thank you again for taking care of him until we were blessed enough to adopt him. You said he was a stray and weren’t sure where he came from, we think he came straight from heaven. He is in the process of helping us heal from broken hearts after losing our beloved dog “Bones.” Thank you so much again, you and the staff are very special people. We will continue to promote the shelter any way we can. Sincerely,
Mary Ann Wycech

Hello Everyone!
I want to let you all know that Lily the Beagle is doing wonderfully and as happy as can be! She loves her new home and her new ‘sisters’. Daisy, my 4 year old beagle, and Lily are inseparable. My oldest kitty, Autumn, adored Lily from the moment she walked in. Even in the beginning, when Lily was playing a little too rough with her, Autumn would simply give her a little ‘scolding’ and all was well again within seconds. It took Lily a few days to learn that ‘puppy nipping’ at the other pups and kitties was a ‘no-no’, but our older beagle, Gina, took charge of teaching ‘puppy manners, 101’. She is now a true member of the family. My youngest kitty, Elsa, has now decided that Lily is OK. She was unsure at first, but now she is taking every opportunity to wander by Lily and give her a little sniff. Here are some pictures…I have lots more, but I tried to e-mail them last week and the file was too big. I will send more later on. Thank you for the wonderful things you all do! We are infinitely grateful and are so thankful to have Lily as a member of our family!

Good morning Everyone! I adopted Maggie on Sat & just wanted to update you on how she is doing. I have attached some pictures I thought you might enjoy. She is doing GREAT & I am so happy with her!! She seems to have been a house dog in her past as she is great in the house…no accidents, doesn’t like to get on the couch but she will in time, stays out of the garbage…but does have a shoe fetish as she chewed on my sandal. She is getting along very well with my other Shepard, Shiloh!! She enjoys her toys, walks well on a leash and is a avid swimmer too! Thanks to ALL OF YOU for giving her a second chance to find a new home and thanks for all of your time while I was there. Thanks again, Pam & Maggie
